Android is everywhere! The most popular operating system which is found in almost every smartphone. Phones have become smart but they are even more smart when we forget our lock screen pattern or password. So, today we're gonna explain some useful methods to hard reset android phones so you can use them when you're in trouble.

Talking of hard resetting android phones, trouble doesn't always come only after forgetting the lock screen password but there are many other factors in which it comes. Like, if you install too many applications and put high load on low-end smartphones then they are not even usable. Cleaning each and everything might become long journey but hard reset can work like a rocket.

You should always remember that hard resetting android device will remove all your data including Google account, applications and their data and it will bring the device to its factory state.

Factory Reset Android From Settings

This is the most easiest and most known method to hard reset android phone. It is useful in such situation when your phone is operating properly. In order to factory reset android device from settings, Go To Settings >> Backup & Restore and Press "Factory Reset". It will confirm you that resetting device will erase all the data and right after confirming, It'll reset and reboot automatically.

Hard Reset From Recovery

This method is mostly used by the geeks to perform factory reset and it is useful in almost every situation. It is useful when your device is not operable or it doesn't turn on or its stuck on the boot logo. In order to hard reset android from recovery, make sure your phone is fully powered off and then hold power on & volume up button for up to 30 seconds. Release buttons right after you feel the vibration and you'll be in the recovery menu. There only hardware buttons will work (power and volume buttons). Use volume buttons as up and down and power button as enter or OK. Now simply scroll down and Factory Reset/Wipe Data from there easily. Reboot your device and it's done.
